Talksport buy virgin Radio?

John McCann voiced his intentions to buy Virgin Radio, saying it has a similar demographic to its national speech radio station. John also said that Virgin would be a “good fit” for his company; he went on to say that “there would be significant cost savings” in bringing the businesses together. This idea may have stemmed from the fact that they have been getting continuously growing revenue increases: in 2007 there was a reported revenue increase of 12 per cent. If TalkSport did buy Virgin Radio we might start to see a strong leader among the radio industry, which can only be a good thing, right?
